The idea for this print came to me while gazing at the shadows of telegraph poles that ran for miles down a street as I drove to work. Having no time to stop and stare is a modern phenomenon. And it is an essential ingredient to art. I wasn't allowed to 'daydream' at school as a dyslexic and my autistic daughter has never been given the processing time she needed in the education system. As SEND parents, time in the day is not on our side. The joy in accessing the daydreams, intangible and mystical can be squashed by the mundane of everyday life admin. Telegraph poles vs sea gods!
