It's not Fine. But it is Art.
Not a Portfolio- A Protest
NotFine.Art didn’t start with a business plan. It started with a breakdown.
It began when a mother, caring for two profoundly autistic children failed by the system, found herself drowning in exhaustion, silence, and despair. After years of promises and no real help, her children were left unsafe in an unsuitable school, and home life fractured under the weight. There was no support... only closed doors and mounting distress.
One day, in the middle of the chaos, she picked up a paintbrush. No training. No plan. Just pain that needed a place to go. And somehow, painting brought calm. From that moment, art became a lifeline; a way to express what couldn’t be said.
NotFine.Art was born from that space: a platform for artists creating from the depths of grief, rage, burnout and survival to tell the truth when no one else is listening.
Our Mission
To tell the truth, and make people feel it.
This marketplace exists to amplify the voices so often overlooked- carers, parents, people living with disability, and those lost in the cracks of broken systems. Through bold, expressive art, we challenge surface-level awareness and call for meaningful change. We honour real experience. We speak through colour, texture, and truth.
Our mission is clear: emotional truth, creative survival, and collective impact.
Our Movement
We’re expanding this platform to feature other artists weaponizing creativity into protest.
If you make expressive, mental-health-driven art then this is your space too.
Soon, we’ll be working with autism and mental health charities to build events and campaigns around promoting genuine awareness and meaningful creation.
Until then: explore, share, speak up. Because we’ve been quiet long enough.
