Angels Breakfast

Originating from a rural background, it was a source of solace when living and working in London for 20 years to find light, beauty and nature each day. The sparkle of the sun in a park pond, the flight path of a bird, the smell of roses. The smell of roses was something Nim and I would cross a road for, I used to tell him that is what angels ate for breakfast. As a grown man he would still cross the road to smell the roses. I am so grateful for this memory.
