Hello, I'm Ruth Ducker.

I am a Visual Artist and Children’s TV Director with a background in both fine art and animation. I studied Fine Art Painting at UWE Bristol before completing a Postgraduate degree in Animation at Central Saint Martins in London. I have spent over two decades directing shows for Disney Junior​,​ Universal Kids​,​ Sky Kids and CBBC​,​ amongst others. After a 25-year break from making art​,​ I have recently returned to creating with a renewed focus. I am motivated as a response to the division and increasing dysfunction I see around me in the world. I see art and creativity as a way of building bridges and reconnecting people. As well as a way for people to find expression and voice and inner calm.
