The Beautiful Twins
Unable to receive tattoos personally due to trypanophobia (a fear of needles), the artist channels a fascination with tattoo art into their creative practice. This work envisions pigs dressed in black latex costumes adorned with Japanese floral motifs. Utilizing a vintage porcelain pig figurine sourced from an antique market, the artist combines acrylic paints with handmade Japanese Yuzen paper to merge traditional craftsmanship with contemporary conceptual expression.
